3G Vibration Rated
Certified to ANSI C136.31, the industry standard for vibration resistance in roadway and area lighting. The 3G tier is the highest level the standard sets, reserved for fixtures mounted on bridges and overpasses, where wind and passing traffic put the structure under constant motion. To earn it, a fixture has to survive 100,000 vibration cycles on each of three axes at 3.0G acceleration, roughly three times the 1.5G threshold used for standard roadway fixtures, without a single part loosening or showing fatigue.
